Yeah, I did it again.

I tore down the old site and rebuilt. This time it’s all about the stuff I write. Sure, you can still get to the music from here. All you have to do is hit the links on the side over there and they’ll take you to the MySpace pages where all that is located. I like MySpace for that sort of thing. The music player is just plain better than anything I could get for over here, even when I paid for it. I figure that this site is best suited to showcase some stories, essays and general literary efforts I've gotten into over the years.

You didn’t know that I was a writer? See? This is why I decided to rebuild the site to feature that side of myself. I’ve written a full novel (okay, it’s not a published novel, but it’s still a novel), scores of poems and essays, several short stories and have apparently been writing Flash Fiction for years without knowing that Flash Fiction is what those odd little vignettes were called. I just figured I was being all clever and stuff. I didn’t know I was being a cutting edge member of the literary avant-garde. Okay, maybe that was stretching a little, but still, I had no idea that somewhere, somebody had coined a term for the crap I was writing to bust people’s nuts on Internet forums under the guise of a character I called The Pulpist.

So, for friends of Nor’Easter, the music is now offered on the MySpace page I have listed in the menu bar over to the left. On that page, it's linked to the big button titled Nor’Easter. If you want the nice quiet acoustic stuff, hit the Rick Carroll Acoustic link button and it’ll take you to the MySpace page for that act. But, if you want to curl up with a good read, hang around and let’s spend some time together. There’s bound to be something here that you’ll like.
